And driving a priceless Bugatti like a hoon.
I can already see them do things with cars that cars can’t do. What do you think, Oppo?

Brought to you by: BMW
anyone else find it puzzling why they would use a new M car when tbey knew it would be destroyed? The car they used didn’t have to be fast for their purposes there. Would have made more sense to use a beat up big sedan, a truck, or suv.

Meh... And I’m gonna go ahead and guess that everything was shot on “La route des crêtes” in Marseille :)

Even though it looks pretty stupid, a heist movie with cars is usually one worth watching.

Looks like a fantastic B movie. Kind of like Redline was a decent B movie.

That sounds about right.
I just can’t help scoff at them occasionally, saying that’s not how cars work.

I don’t know about it being worth watching. But I’d watch them anyway because cars are involved lol

I guess BMW had a bunch cars left over after Mission Impossible 4 was done with them lol
There’s so many things that don’t make sense, tbh. The premise itself - stealing cars that are that valuable means they can’t be used by the subsequent owner. Because how easy would it be to spot a priceless black long art deco Bugatti in a Cars and Coffee or on the road anywhere in the world? What would you do with a stolen Type 57, except keep it at home and hide it for like 50 years? Lol

The chases are the bits worth watching.

Damn, that’s Clint Eastwood’s son.
Also, his acting in F&F 8 was ... hammy.

Hammy...I really ought to use that as an adjective more often.

You have to ignore reality pretty strongly. But these types of movies were always great to watch midday during summer break when I was in school. Now it’s a Saturday or Sunday afternoon type thing.
The best part is when the not so great actors put on their serious face because they can’t show fake emotions very well. A solid example of this was Mark Hamil in Corvetter Summer(the guy was in good movies but was a shit actor).

Yes, some people just hide their uber-classics from public eyes...it typically leads to barn finds becomes they tend to die without properly passing the vehicle on to next-of-kin or whoever. GIS turns up results for “Bugatti barn find” .

Haha yeah my parents and sister hate me for that and I end up not liking movies. For me, its almost involuntary to find things to pick on. They say I should put my brain aside in a jar or something before watching movies.
I agree when it’s bad, it makes a full loop from “ugh” to funny and entertaining lol

Haha haha I love that show!

Well part of the interest that helps is if any of the “crew” they recruit can drive great. As in Brian & Dom already knew what they were doing. I don’t want a “tokyo drift” thing where we have to see someone learn to drive a car.
I can do that any day in real life when I drive on the road.

Haha point taken :)
